The next family reunion will be in August the 4th and 5th 2012 at Hotel Aulanko near Hämeenlinna, South Finland. It is located about half way from Helsinki to Tampere. We hope to see you there!

Preliminary program

Saturday the 4th August 2012:

- 11 am Worship in the church of Vanaja. Visit of respect to the monument to those dead in Carelia.

- 12 noon Buffet lunch, Hotel Aulanko.

- 13.30 pm Meeting of the Family Society committee.

- 14 pm Annual meeting of the Family Society. At the end of the meeting, the family book will be published.

- 15 pm Coffee break.

- 15.30 pm Program (we hope program numbers from members of the family, especially from young people and children. Please contact Jussi Henttonen, see later on this site).

Lottery with small prizes (we hope that the participants could bring prizes).

- possibly dinner at 18-23 pm in Hotel Aulanko.

Sunday the 5th August:

- possibility to play golf on a 9 or 18 hole course. If you are interested please tell your club and handicap to Jussi Henttonen (see later).

Accommodation

The family society has reserved rooms in Hotel Aulanko for special prices: 72 €/ double room / day, 102 €/ single room / day, an additional bed for a child 25 €/ day and for an adult 36 €/ day. Participation fee

Lunch, afternoon coffee /tea and meeting room rent totals 50 € /adult and 15 € /child. The money is collected in Aulanko at the registration.

The family society collects a minor fee also from those who don't like to have the lunch and afternoon coffee /tea. This fee has not yet been decided. The reason for this fee is that the society has to pay the rent for the conference room.

Registration in advance

The family book will be published year 2012.

The genealogical study is finished and has been made by Mr. Jarmo Paikkala, genealogist. The book will contain also plenty of fotos and several articles. It will be in Finnish but you can find there interesting information also without any skills in Finnish language. The main content of the book will be birth, marriage and dead data and parishes of members of Henttonen family from 17th century and later. Some information is also from the 16th century.

The book will contain about 100 pages more than planned (the planned page amount was about 570). It will be in A4 format (about 20.5 cm x 29.5 cm).

Due to the bigger page amount, the price has increased. However, if you pay the membership fee of the family society by the 30th Apr 2012, you get one copy by 70 €. If you order two copies, the price is 60 € each, and if three or more, 50 € each. The postage will be added.

However, if you are not a member of the family society, or if you don't pay the membership fee by the 30th Apr 2012, the price is 80 € /one copy, two copies 70 € each, and three or more, 60 € each. The postage will be added.
